Batik Textiles designs, creates and sells (wholesale only) 100% cotton batiks to fabric shops and retailers across the United States. We also have limited international distribution.

We supply our customers with uniquely designed fabrics in beautiful colors, and offer new collections of batiks 3-4 times each year.

Danica Bartelme, our Lead Designer, has been hand-crafting beautiful fabric designs (or, "stamps") for Batik Textiles since 2019. Her wonderful sense of color and gift for creative design brings inspiration and life to our fabric collections. We are so happy to be working with Danica.

Batik Textiles fabrics are handmade using Danica's designs combined with traditional artisan methods in Bali, Indonesia. Our batikers apply wax to fabric by hand using dots, lines or intricate patterns. The wax “resists” the application of the next chosen dye color. Multiple applications of wax and color may be used to achieve the final design and color of each fabric.

Quilters in particular have found our high quality, uniquely designed and colorful batik fabrics really do bring their quilting projects to life.

Fabric retailers have found us to be a premium wholesale source of batik fabrics, with designs inspired by scenes, colors and images from around the world.

The Batik Textiles design, sales and distribution center is located on California's Central Coast.
